You can't see it here cause it has been cut off but right after the interviewer thanks Mariah for commenting on Whitney at the very end, Mariah's expression on her face was as if she was about to cry. It looked like she was supressing her emotions/tears.

I agree, Leona can't hit the low notes (Mariah does it with ease) and her vocal runs don't seem to be fluid enough and a bit sloppy. I think her voice has grown since then though. Leona and Kelly are great BUT this does make me realize again how unique Mariah's voice is.
