MISS HONEY AND THE COMBS is a six-piece modern lounge band that pulls inspiration from the swanky sixties lounge scene as well as the mod-rock era of the seventies. Performances typically include updated versions of songs made famous by strong female singers, such as Nina Simone and Julie London, as well as re-imaginings of songs from modern rock and folk acts, such as Morphine, The Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, The Greenhorns, Willie Nelson and Steve Goodman. The band features: Brandon Campbell (Sax/Clarinet) Randall Carpenter (Sax), Kristina Lee (Bass), Jana Liles (Vocals), Mike Przygoda (Vibes, Guitar and Keys) and Erik Schroeder (Drums). Miss Honey and the Combs has performed multiple sets at Strawdog Theater's Hugen Hall, and Martyrs'.
