That picture was taken not to far from you there on Vancouver Island. I'm guessing not more than a hundred miles maybe. It's within Cascades National Park and that trail was very close to the Canadian border. I spent a week camping and hiking all over Washington state about a decade ago. It was so much fun.
Yes...Spring is close. I can taste and smell it -can you? That's a nice picture of you there with the kitty cat. I'll bet it's a great companion? I've always been a dog lover myself though. Cats are nice too, though.

Thanks for the nice compliment on that photo, it was taken very close to YOU in the Cascade mountains of Washington State about 12 years ago. I flew out to Seattle and rented a car. Armed with a tent and sleeping bag and my legs, I explored around the Cascades for over a week. It was so much fun! That picture was taken only 20 miles from the Canadian border.
