Very well put, but Kosher and Halal slaughter methods needs to change. Cutting the throat of a fully alert animal causes it great pain and it takes several minutes for the animal to die. Stunning the animal first eliminates those problems.

I don't believe the young girl who has a BMI of 15.3 doesn't diet or try to keep her weight down. She said she is healthy, but having so little fat on her body is not healthy. If she had talked about the food she eats and they showed her eating (and not purging) perhaps I would be less sceptical....

Sheesh, they are within driving distance, why can't she see her bio family on a regular basis? For myself, I would not have disrupted a teenager's life like that. Even a younger child would be traumatized if two familys fight over custody.

@MarlonTeVrede I had recognized that she had post-pardom (sp?) psychosis but hadn't really thought about the earlier attempts at getting rid of the baby until you pointed it out. Also, the drowning attempt was another attempt. A terrifying movie and sad, but very well done.

Aside from all the abuses that this type of slaughter causes on animals, the large bull's hooves were terribly outgrown and it must have been in pain even before having it's neck sliced open. TAKE CARE OF YOUR ANIMALS PEOPLE!!!
