Anahita Mitra Minuvash is the artist name of Fahimeh Amouzandeh, a singer, composer, actress, fashion model, director, producer, broadcaster from Royal Iran, who started her career as a singer and presenter in Studio 11, a musical TV-show from the seventies by Siavash Ghomayshi and Farshid Ramzi in Royal Iran(1977). She acted as the lead actress in War as "the peace maker", a cool play by Jean-Claude van Italy, an American playwright, in Tehran Avant gard theater (1974). In the movie Gavaznha where she worked with Behrouz Vossoughi, she appeared as the Music Master 's daughter (1976)

and in Hamsafar (1978) she cooperated with Googoosh as her close sister who has kept her secret that was flying to the Caspian sea in the middle of the night. ( http://www.googoosh.com ).
After cooperating in Caravans ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm... ), an all star Hollywood adventure movie filmed in Royal Iran in 1978, she moved to London to study Shakespeare for 6 months to one year. After being there 11 months with the invitation of Elmo Williams ( http://www.elmowilliams.com )at Mitra Birthday 1979 she joined her friends in Los Angeles at the premier of the Caravans. Mira, the medium for unity between generations studied, researched and worked as an Independent Energy Efficiency Consultant, until the mid 1980s. In LA she was invited to cooperate with one American and two Persian record companies, but decided to first dive into the Persian literature of ancient times before publishing her recorded work. She became the first female Persian vocalist to compose the songs of Ferdowsi's Shahnameh and Rumi's monumental literary works from 1000 and 800 years ago.
In LA she performed and studied with artists like Siavash Ghomayshi, ( http://www.SiavashGhomayshi... ), Vigen and Ebi, all major international Iranian superstars. After visiting her homeland Iran for three and a half years, she returned to Europe. Since 1996 she is cooperating with Niels van der Veen from the Netherlands on recording the ancient masters of Persian literature in original Parsi language and in English translations, as well as her own songs.
Minuvash has a beautifully developed velvet voice and is a fearless person with a lot of charisma and stage personality. Her recorded work is mainly published on the Internet and some of it is distributed through CDBaby.
