Like it or not, Stalin saved the entire globe, and Russia. Russia would be another somalia with Trotsky's leadership, for 70 years. Stalin's red army defeated hitler because of the industrialization. He made mistakes of course, some mistakes, but you need to realize he is what Russia and the world, for that matter, needed at that time. Not to say Stalin wouldn't be a good leader nowadays, he had to make tough decisions back then, they were tough times. Also, I have no beef with Trotskyists, bolshevik chick on my related channels is a Trotskyist, I just hate seeing "fuck Stalin" like on your description.

progressive? You do realize it was a fuedal Country, similar to pre-green libya, before Stalin right? Without Stalin's leadership the Kulaks would have continued raping the people's food supply, Russia would never have industrialized, and with Trotsky's leadership the USSR would have been in war communism for 70 years (by trotsky's theses, deemed by lenin as "politically harmful") 70 years is the length of the USSR! From Stalin to Gorbachev, thats how long it would have taken before Russia would have become the great nation it is today, and even then it would have been too late.
