I don't know if Sylvester Stallone ever went to Gateshead, but he certainly joined the campaign to save the Trinity Square car park. If he had wanted to save it that much, I am sure he could have bought it! As someone said to me, if you had to look at it every day, then you would not have wanted to save it!

I probably spend a couple of weeks per year in North Shields - you possibly saw some of my films on the Get Carter locations or some of my other local material!
I did not think much of Newcastle when I lived there and was glad to leave. Now I find it exciting to go back. However I would not like to live there - it is far too cold.
I publish a magazine - a trade publication. However I am also a small contributor to the North East's own intellectuals' magazine, Viz!
