84th Academy Awards on the Oscars Red Carpet
Mingle Media TV and host, Kristyn Burtt, were invited to come out and cover 84th Academy Awards from the Red Carpet at the Hollywood and Highland Center. On Oscars Sunday our team interviewed Oscar winners (before the ceremony) along with other celebrities who were there to celebrate the event. The Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements in 2011 was televised from the Hollywood & Highland Center on the ABC Television Network and to more than 225 countries worldwide making it a truly international event.

39th Annie Awards Red Carpet
Mingle Media TV and Kristyn Burtt were invited to come out and cover the the 39th Annual Annie Awards for the The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood.
Often a predictor of the annual Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, the Annie Awards honor overall excellence as well as individual achievement in a total of 28 categories ranging from best feature, production design, character animation, and effects animation to storyboarding, writing, music, editing and voice acting.
ASIFA-Hollywood is the world's first and foremost professional organization dedicated to promoting the Art of Animation and celebrating the people who create it. Today, ASIFA-Hollywood, the largest chapter of the international organization ASIFA, supports a range of animation activities and preservation efforts through its membership. Current initiatives include the Animation Archive, animation film preservation, special events, classes and screenings. Created in 1972 by veteran voice talent June Foray, the Annie Awards have grown in scope and stature for the past three decades. 2012 IAWTV Awards Red Carpet: CES 2012 Las Vegas
Mingle Media TV and host Misty Kingma were in Vegas at CES 2012 and covered the inaugural IAWTV Awards. The International Academy of Web Television (IAWTV) Awards is the first award show within the Web television industry to be presented by content creators, for content creators. From studio content producers to YouTube celebrities, those successfully creating entertainment for digital platforms were celebrated via 33 categories honoring web series and online talent, in front of the camera and behind the scenes.

Cars 2 Premiere
Mingle Media TV and entertainment reporter Kristyn Burtt were on the Red Carpet last night for the Disney Pixar Cars 2.
The "Cars 2" World Premiere is like no other: this red carpet is a global speedway, complete with starting and finish lines, plus giant flags representing the international locales from which the film's World Grand Prix competitors hail. Rolling down the race track will be life-size remote-controlled cars modeled after their big-screen likenesses Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissile, Guests will don "Cars 2"-themed RealD 3D glasses and view the film at the El Capitan and Grauman's Chinese Theatres at 8 p.m., followed by a "Cars 2"-style reception at the "Cars 2" World Grand Prix attraction, presented by Kodak

Make Your Mark -- 'Shake It Up' Edition'
Mingle Media TV and Kristyn Burtt were invited to come out to the "Make Your Mark: Ultimate Dance Off -- 'Shake It Up' edition hosted by Zendaya and Bella Thorne." This is the Disney Channel's first national dance talent search just for kids, hosted by AT&T U-verse, at the Americana at Brand in Glendale, California. Kids ages 8-16, had the opportunity to show off their choreographed or free style dance moves as well as record a dance video for online submission for a chance to compete in a dance off to air on Disney Channel in October 2011. The grand prize also included a special guest dance spot on "Shake It Up" plus the chance to meet the cast. Fans and dance enthusiasts were also invited to learn new dance moves from the series choreographer Rosero McCoy and dancers, participate in a Q&A with Zendaya and Bella Thorne hosted by Radio Disney on-air personality Ernie D.
"Make Your Mark: Ultimate Dance Off: 'Shake It Up' Edition" talent search continues at the following cities: San Francisco (July 9), Chicago (July 16), Atlanta (July 23), and Detroit (July 30). Kids age 8-16 can enter and show off their "mad dance skills" by going online to DisneyChannel.com/MakeYourMark and submitting their short dance videos, up to 45 seconds long with a maximum of 5 people and "like" their favorite videos with the most popular will be featured weekly on Disney Channel and DisneyChannel.com.
