Two years ago MindsiMedia started our second station Mindsi2 (clever. no!) which was a video examination of the events leading up to 9/11. How an proxy war in Afghanistan conducted by American, Saudi and Pakistani intelligence services provided set in motion and helped create the organization that launched the attacks. From their we began to explore different aspects of the Reagan/Bush/Bush presidencies. Then last winter during the media circus that was the Blagojevich arrest the idea for Blagovision was born. This was stared as a way of showing how politicians and the media frame or present the issues and problems we face. We are now combining the two stations into one and present a unified vision of where we are and how we got there. At Peace Through Courage we think Americans need to open their eyes and see where we are as a nation and how we got to this point. We look at the war on terror the war on drugs and some of the other wars that have been fought in our name over the past 100 years. It is a history of covert intervention, the use of terror, the exploitation of drugs and many other disgraces capped off by the surreal eight years of the Bush/Cheney administration. The only thing more amazing than this is how ignorant and uncaring a lot of Americans are about such issues. So we will will be doing here is showing how these events and wars are connected and what the impact they've had in shaping todays events. For example we see how the election of Ronald Reagan the collapse of the Savings and Loans and todays Wall Street meltdown are all connected.
