Solo Rockabilly artist, known as the "HillBilly Kid" !
I'm an ex-serviceman, having served my great country for 21 years in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). I retired from the RAAF in 2001, and was an Aircraft Technician (ATECH1), with rank of Sergeant, most of my service was with various Fighter Squadrons. During my time in the RAAF, I proudly served in the Sinai (1983), and in Rwanda (1994).
In 2002 I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident ( a car failed to give way) which left me disabled and unable to work, however life goes on.
I'm the proud father of 4 kids and also have 4 grandkids, all of which I love heaps.
I was born in a little Italian town, called Cossato, in Piemonte, which is in Northern Italy, just on the Italian side of the Swiss Alps. My parents migrated to Australia when I was 2, in 1958, so I consider myself an Aussie, and am very patriotic and proud to be an Aussie.
I'm a member of the LONGRIDER CMC AUSTRALIA, a christian motorcycle club, and I ride a 2000 Harley Davidson Heritage. I'm the club's National Web Site Administrator, and our web address is www.longriders.com.au
I love rockabilly & Psychobilly music, and play a bit of guitar, bass and drums. I'm also into computer flight simulation and spend endless hours "flying" different aircraft in the safety of my own home.
I'm also a member of Sea Shepherd (www.seashepherd.org), which is a conservation society, who, not only protest against the illegal fishing of endangered & other species (as well as the exploitation of other land based animals), but they also enforce the law regarding these issues. I feel very strongly about accountability regarding the environment, and believe that we are headed down a self destructive road, if we don't change the way we manage how we fit in with nature.
