Both Bolton and Sunderland away this season have been on general sale before selling out, which is exactly the point I am making. You haven't been allocated the top and bottom tiers of Ewood Park since 2009, because you can't sell out. You can't ask for more tickets in a league game unless your allocation has been reduced because you weren't expected to sell the complete allocation (e.g. at Ewood Park it's around 7,000 although Arsenal barely sell 4,000 so if there was unexpected ticket sales, they could ask for 5,200). Whereas the real big clubs such as Man United get 8,000-10,000 applications from season ticket holders alone for away tickets.

haha we asked for more tickets this year than bolton actually , we used to get allcoated the whole upper/half lower of the away stand there , like we do blackburn

we always take at least 3'000 to every league game and normally ask for more , but on the road we have been in trouble for standing and stuff before so sometimes it gets reduced (normally for BIGGER games)

like liverpool away in 2007 , we got 6'000 in the cup (whole annie upper , half annie lower) , but in the carling cup game days later (Won 6-3 , baptista got 4) , we only got a qaurter of the annie lower , we took about 5k for that because of trouble in the fa cup game (the 6-3 was league cup)

What's never happened? You send back tons and tons of tickets to grounds such as Bolton, Blackburn and Sunderland, the gritty, unglamorous games, you lot only wanna know about the Chelsea's and the Spurs' away, and even if you do sell out further North than Villa, more times than not the game would of been on general sale for weeks.

below - that never happens , we sell out practically every game , ther'es not one ground ths iseason we haven't sold out for example

we took 4'400 to wigan , says it all

Below has blocked me -

A barren 7 years of playing in the European Cup every season, sounds tough, you spent a couple of weeks in the relegation zone duckipoops, a much shorter time than you've been in the top 4 places. You sell out every home and away once it's been on general sale for a couple of weeks, your allocations are often cut due to Arsenal sending back tickets that they couldn't sell. The real big clubs in this country like Man United recieve 8,000-10,000 applications for every away game from season ticket holders without fail.

we sell out every match home and away , despite a barren 7 years and having spent more time in the relegation zone than in the top 4 over the last year , i don't care if they're hoolies or not our fans are loyal and that's all ic are about

way i see it is abunch of ordinary fellas havin a laugh after beating the mancs , nothing to do with "hooliganism" , and i wasn't trying to imply that , we were just taunting them , plus we were having a hard time and had not won our last ten or something so to beat them was a great feeling
