For 20 years I grew up in the NO Mass never hearing or even knowing that a TLM Mass existed. When a professor of mine invited me to this Mass, being prepared to receive the Host, I was amazed. Never in my 20 years at the NO Mass have I ever felt something like I did with the TLM. Yes, I have had priest give the NO very piously but it does not compare to the TLM at all even when giving NO with great reverence.

I do believe the NO Mass is valid but that is it. But personally, the TLM is far superior than the NO, and holier and many would agree. Many are not exposed to the TLM because many archbishops don't want people to even hear and know about the Mass. I am confident if the NO were to be abrogated, you'd actually many liberals of the Church leaving because they hate the TLM. But this is my personal feeling and no one can argue to me "nostalgia."

Yes, I am interested in the priesthood but I still have to discern much more. But if God willing, I would like to join the Institute of Christ the King. It gives the TLM. For me, I never want to give or be ordained in the NO Mass.
