About Me:
I was in the Marine Corps infantry and deployed several times to Operation Iraqi Freedom, I have been an independant contractor since 2006 through multiple countries non-stop just about after discharging. I enjoy firearms, and pretty much the whole military atmosphere in general.
On the other end of the spectrum, I love to play around with and tweak computers, gadgets, and technology in my spare time.
As far as people go, all I ask is that people treat others like how you'd want to be treated. I can be your best friend, or I can be your worst enemy. It's your choice, all depends on how you come across. Also, I have issues with those who force their opinions on others regardless of how little they know. Never ignore an opportunity to shut up and listen!

In all fairness, though, I was told by a Marine acquaintance that the M14 was dropped as a service rifle (emphasis on service rifle) for a plethora of reasons. I hear it's still used as a designated marksman rifle, though.
