I disagree with the mid-range boost necessarily being the best thing, because it all depends on the style of bass playing and the genre itself. It totally works for the song that was playing in this vid, but in my experience cutting the mids tends to make for a twangier bass sound that is optimal...

Is it just me, or do the drums sound a little funny to anyone else? The toms kind of sound like someone's banging on metal pipes...it sounds awesome, but for the life of me I wouldn't have a clue how you could possibly get that sound without recording the sounds yourself and importing them to you...

This is one of the few instances in which I like the remastered version just as much as the original version (which this is). This song and KIMB are my two favorite Megadeth songs of all time, so you know this is a pretty great album.

The arpeggiated solo @4:42 is scarily similar to a solo my band's guitarist wrote for one of our songs. Now we're gonna have to change it...oh well. At least I know I've got a good guitarist if he's inadvertently mimicking solos from a band as great as Overkill.
