About Mike Pryslak
The United States is not a democracy because the principal of one person, one vote is trumped by money. After the Civil War, the rich, land-owning white men who found they no longer were the only ones allowed to vote paid their lawyers to convince a few judges to allow corporations to have rights granted to freed slaves.
WITH THESE RIGHTS, CORPORATIONS AND THEIR WEALTHIEST OWNERS NOW EFFECTIVELY MAKE OUR LAWS. Using modern media and marketing science, voters are persuaded which candidates to elect. With gifts, campaign contributions and no spending limits on lobbyists, lawmakers are influenced.
We must ban corporations from politics with a constitutional amendment that abolishes corporate personhood.
