Mikey Castro was born in San Diego, California and has been in Idaho since he was 4 years old. He started dancing at the end of his freshman year in 2006. In high school, Mikey was a self-taught dancer and freestyler, learning from YouTube videos and friends he knew around the area. He just recently started taking his dance career seriously and has been fortunate enough to train extensively under the guidance of Max Nguyen. One of his dance videos has been featured on "America's Best Dance Crew" for video of the week. He is currently a member of The CoaliSion.
