I love it when shows make reference to lines from previous episodes or you find out the history behind the things characters say. Although, when Eliot first told Nate that knives were like people I never would have guessed that this would be the history behind the line.

Yes and no to whether this is the LeAnn Rimes version. No, because this sounds like what it sounds like when Violet sang it in the movie; but yes because LeAnn is Violet's singing voice so I believe whenever you hear Violet singing you are actually hearing LeAnn sing, not Piper.
