@KurioseKreatur I dig it. A lot of Cure fans are like the classic rock folks - their music died years ago and they get pissed off at anyone who disturbs it.

@thatheather The guitars are seriously abstract. Even Robert's. It would be really hard to sing to without the bass and drum holding the phrase together.

@Macsk8ing Besides, you always see Marley with a Les Paul Special - that would be worth a buck or two. I would not be surprised if Mr McCartney's bass guitar would sell for 8 figures (If Sir Paul cared to sell it.) I don't think ther woudl be any guitar that would sell for more.

The second song really shows what Ringo was doing for them that Pete Best could not. Strong, steady, little bit of swing. I'm guessing just from the sound taht this was the December 1962 Hamburg gigs - stronger drumming and good bass amp.

Great tune - more musical (and less athletic sounding) than the other tunes. I'd say she would do to link up with other highly talented teens and just go where they will. Great guitar playing.
