The Irish Guards were formed in 1900 by oreder of HM Queen Victoria in honour of the bravery of the Irish regiments during the Boer War. It is the Fourth regiment of Foot Guards and hold 6 Victoria Crosses, 52 Battle Honours, 21 of which are displayed on the Regimental Colour. Our Quick March is "St. Patrick's Day". We are affectionately known as "THE MICKS"
