Dear Gnikcufuoy, I have another vid of the Botanical Garden in 1953. I suppose that there was a photographer with a self-developing camera there. The photographer developed the picture right away in a camera compartment so could hand it over immediately. Such cameras were used all over the world for tourists in the beginning of last century. They are collectors'items now. Later Polaroid took over.

Dear Mr Rogge,
Thank you for uploading such priceless pictures. I am particularly impressed with image of Botanical Garden in 1950s. Yes, I also have a picture taken there with my mother in 1954. My mother recently passed away. But I couldn't find the spot where the picture was taken. My mother told me that for a small price we had our picture taken there. The cameraman would develop it and more incredible it was home delieved the next day. I am wondering where you have more videos on the garden or you have any recollection of it?

Hi Michael!!!
You have an impressive collection of videos, in fact your family films are a priceless gem.
In truth, I am very grateful that you have so much love to share your jewels. Incidentally, I see that you are of Amesterdam, I was there in 2005 and your city is too beautiful =)
I admire you Michael, I hope you are well and I send lots of hugs from Sonora, Mexico ^_^ !!!
