Michael's career began at the age of five while performing in an Arby's national commercial. Since that time, Michael has performed in radio, television and theatrical performances as a professional AFTRA union member. During Michael's twenties, he experienced the opportunity to travel to twenty-six countries over a thirteen year period. Some of his credits included: First European Tour of West Side Story, First European Tour of Hair -- The Musical, First European Tour of Pippin, First European Tour of Carmen, First European Tour of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, First Asian Tour including China, Hong Kong and Thailand of Rockin' in the USA -- Rock Revue, and First National Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Michael's film and television credits included numerous appearances on the television daytime dramas -- All My Children and Days of our Lives. His commercial appearances included McDonald's National Campaign, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Nickelodeon -- TV Land Ad Campaign and the Gathering's Role Playing Card Game advertisements. Film credits included "Gods and Monsters" directed by Bill Condon, starring Ian McKellen, Brendan Fraser, Lynn Redgrave and Lolita Davidovich. "Gods and Monsters" was nominated for three Academy Awards -- Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress and (Winner of) Best Screenplay Adaptation. Lynn Redgrave was the winner of The Golden Globe® Award -- Best Supporting Actress. Michael's technical talents were seen in Sphere starring Dustin Hoffman and Sharon Stone and Face Off starring John Travolta and Nicholas Cage.
Michael's career also included rigger work on the Rolling Stones -- Voodoo Lounge Tour, Aerosmith's -- Get a Grip Tour and the musical cabaret revue of "Born in the USA" -- China Rock Tour. Michael was also a theatrical performer on Royal Caribbean's Song of America, Nordic Empress and Monarch of the Seas Cruise Ships for four years.
Michael was the organizer and event coordinator for the 25th Anniversary reunion of the first ten graduating classes of The Youth Performing Arts School. In addition to planning the event, Michael produced and directed a 1 hour DVD special chronicling the first ten years of performances at the Youth Performing Arts High School. The event took place on May 9th and 10th of 2003. The event brought over 550 alumni together from 38 states and 4 countries.
Michael also had a chance to serve his country with the 1st/38th Infantry and the 353rd Civil Affairs Battalion at Ft. Benning/Ft. Bragg/ and Ft. Dix. Michael also served as a Federal Officer with the Picatinny Arsenal Police Dept. and Tobyhanna Army Depot Police Dept. He received multiple accomodations for excellence in the field and was awarded two commander's coins and citation for outstanding performance in the line of duty
