Unfortunately most rc airfields in Australia are prone to noise and flight area restrictions.

Am lucky to have a GREAT club 30 mins away in a rural type area. Few members, fly when you want and the runway/s and facilities are excellent!!! :)

On approach, Air Traffic Control has a Fokker and a 737 on final. He tells the trailing 737 that he is number two to land and if he has spotted the number one traffic. The Captain tells the tower, "I've always wanted to say this......I have the little FOKKER in sight!!"

@Slickdapj True, there is a P 51 where I jump / skydive, my father is reserve airforce 25+ years I have a ppl and tandem skydive rating and my fav plane is also like my fathers a p 51. Also love the Sea Fury!! FASTEST SINGLE PISTON ENGINE EVER mmmmm :)

There is NOTHING like the sound of a MERLIN!!! Could only imagine what it would be like with all of them there at once that day!!
