the philippines was never united during that time as it is now, you only saved the north ( republic of the philippines ) or what i like to call, the christian side of the philippines. the south didn't need your help and in fact before ww1 era, during spain colonizing the northern philippines. the moros of the south killed all the mexican soilders, including the spanish. so pretty much we kicked your ass before we even had guns
