@hihat101 1959 Stock are made from aluminium, the 1938 Stock were steel, that's why they rusted quickly. These would have to have a good 100 years before they got that tatty. If they weren't sent to Alderney, they would have gone on a 1 way trip to Rotherham and they be baked bean cans.
