The Metal Awards Show

For decades, heavy metal has been ignored by mainstream media and traditional award institutions. Not satisfied with one watered down category in the Grammy's, the misguided Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or "Slayer rules!" carved into bathroom walls and high school notebooks, The Metal Awards Show is charging out of the gate with a vengeance to internationally honor, award and induct the musicians who make the metal world go round.

The annual televised event will focus on the preceding year's albums, tours, dvds and metal events while also honoring the metal gods of the past. Heavy Metal performances, presenters and fans will all gather for one special night to hail the blackest sheep the world over. The Metal Awards Show rolls out the blood red carpet for its own, by its own.
