~ Freedom For Orcas ~

The great ocean blue is a small dolphin's home,
So why must I stay in this tank all alone?
I'm bored, sad and lonely with nothing to do,
Each day is the same with the very same view.

I remember the orcas that swum through the seas,
And I long to join them, swimming at ease,
Seeing new places each wondrous new day,
Swirling and diving in glorious play.

A stranger passed by just yesterday,
She knew that I longed for the silver sea spray,
She asked if you'd think about setting me free.
You said, 'she is special', and wouldn't agree.

Well if I am special please think how I feel.
I'm not a stuffed toy, I'm alive and I'm real.
I'm not made of stone, I have feeling's like you.
Life's not just for human's, this world is mine too.

So now I am hoping and praying you'll see
That to love a thing truly, you must set it free,
For it matters not whether you're big or you're small,
A life without freedom is no life at all.

Ocean Poem

GUESS WHO?

In the summer...it rises and retreats...it tastes salty but reminds me of honey...it feels rough, but smooth...it sprinkles butterfly kisses...hhmmm...what is it????
Skin tight warmth.
You sprinkle butterfly kisses on my lips.
I giggle and push you away.
You sink down and calm.
Then you rise back up and grab my hips.
So strong, you bring me down with you.
I laugh and get back up.
You're coming again.
I charge forward only to be enveloped in the safe warm feeling that is you.
Retreat again.
You stay long this time.
So I tease you.
Saying you are not mighty enough to take me on.
Now you came back again.
Taking me full, bringing me down.
And for a second it feels like a kiss.
Rough, but still smooth.
It tastes salty, but reminds me of honey...
To bad it's the end of summer or we could do this all the time.
But the world is calling.
And the sun is falling.
But don't worry.
I'll see you again...

WHAT WOULD I BE

What would I be, if I could be?
Anything at all, my soul free,
A tree or a stream, perhaps light,
From a star above cast at night.

Or my soul might fly across time,
And stay in the skies blue and sublime,
There above all, safe to explore,
All of my minds shore.

A shoreline eternal and an ocean blue,
In skies of endless hope soaring true,
And I will live forever in my mind's eye,
Flying as a soul in an endless sky.
