I'm an American lady in my young 40s who travels internationally often. Because of that I care greatly about many causes throughout the world and have a great love of foreign cultures, traditions, and the treasures of beauty to be found everywhere. I cherish nature, wildlife, culture and care very much about the cause of peace and humanity. Though I'm "universal" and omnispiritual, and perhaps because I am...I'm a bit of a flower child at heart.

I've been drawn to music and have been playing by ear on the piano since I was three. (I have gone since then from an old-fashioned upright to a Korg M-3 - wow, what a thrill to live in a time when such wonderful instruments are being invented!) Though my admiration and love for the work of the "greats" is boundless, I am a HUGE advocate for musicians who play at home, pursuing what they love and where their hearts guide them - writing originals and playing covers - simply because it's what they love to do.

You cannot be afraid to make mistakes. You will make plenty of them. You'll also make some magic moments. Do it - write, play, record, share. Being in the "business" of music is NOT important. Playing/writing music from your heart, heeding whatever you are called to do, is the ONLY THING THAT MATTERS. Take advantage of the good fortune to be able to do so, and GO FOR IT. I'm cheering for you. Hopefully...you are cheering for me also :-)

salaam, another piece of me.. i am so glad for youtube's existence. i am not alone in this world, but how many of us are in the world? is it truly enough to make serious changes in this world? all i know at this moment is that you and i are connected and there will be a time when we all come together in love all over the world and overcome those lost and angry, greedy and lustful and we will empower them to let go of their fears to reach their inner selves :)
