Fantastic...you really understand this piece, and this is one of the greatest pieces ever written, it's totally bottomless and you have done it great justice. I'm willing to be that you practice this a hell of a lot, just because it's so great to hear it again and again

so much groove...you can't play like this, if you're not seriously brilliant at the drums...and this kid is the real deal

I can't speak for this gentleman and his pillow technique, maybe it will work for you, but I highly recommend Tommy Igoe's Great hands for a lifetime DVD that advocates the opposite approach to this to to get a great, grooving (not dead) sound...check him out, try this and then see which you pref...

I couldn't agree more that Taylor doesn't play so well with the Foo Fighters...I don't know why it is, but it's very strange to mere, how much nuance and feel he brings to this song and yet in the Foo Fighters he's like a boring truck ploughing through the songs...His playing here is magic

it's just so well played...even after all these years, it sounds as if it was recorded this afternoon

also...Gavin Harrison is someone grabbing my attention these days...I've never see him play anything that was duff, he's technically assured and extremely imaginative and full of feel

it's totally clear that you LOVE the drums and that are fantastic...I would say all that very fast bass drum work...spoils the groove for me, but your hi-hat work is stunning as is your hand foot coordination on the toms...hats off dude

your groove improved really dramatically in the 2nd verse, it was totally great.. I don't think the hi-hat should be so dirty and messy in the chorus, the groove of the song IMHO requires it to be as tight as anything

well he definitely owns it, just looking at this, it strikes as he is an unbelievably hard work and practicer... this is what comes out when he's free-flowing, after all that practice

He has such fantastic Left hand technique....it's a thing of beauty

he's amazing, and he has a beautiful sounding and very small kit...these days, (and speaking only personally) I find big kits a real turn off, 3 piece, 4 piece, throw in some cymbals, and you can prettty much do anything

he's utterly fantastic, pure class and taste

and the tragedy is that even without all that idiotic and highly distracting stuff he's obviously a very 'grooving' and skilled drummer. The title of this vid is perfect

his muscles are fully warmed and you can tell he's just in the zone...it all starts to pick up about 30 seconds in, and he's really enjoying himself

@iangolder , I so agree, but he's only underrated in the sense that a lot of people don't know him, he's not underrated by those of us who have adored him for about 30 years!

you can hear the extraordinarily rich quality of Mark Breczicki's drumming in the opening section this...could easily be Steve Gadd...beautiful hi-hat and splash work

couldn't agree more...world's best drummer, so few members of the general public really understand or have any appreciation of this

this is sublime

he has phenomenal technique in his hands, but it's quite clear watching this (or any of his clips) how well his hands AND feet are coordinated together
