I believe that the Konstantynow radio mast was one of the most important structures of the 20th century. Considering it was built in the early 70s it is astonishing to discover it was not only the tallest tower of the past century but also the only half-wave antenna with a 2gig power + extra 1gig of naturally occurring location boost able to broadcast a Hi-Fi quality signal to virtually every corner of the world. It's like having a satelite radio sitting on the surface of planet earth! Whoever designed this gem was a genius.
