Jerome Blanchet, best know as Jay the Melomaneist, is a young producer & composer from Beauce, Québec, Canada. His style is a combination of mainstream and experimentale music. He played lead electric guitar for several years in a rock garage band and latter discovered a fascination for electronic music. From tangerine dream to Aphex Twin, from Klaus Schulze to Deadmau5. Jay the Melomaneist is ready to use his inspiration and give you his own vision of what electronic music need to be. his goal on youtube is to broadcast his music, find and do good collaborations with others artists. talk with others artist about music. he is a friend to friend. Beside fascination for music, Jay the Melomaneist own a baccalaureat in mathematic & economic from University of Montreal and a master in economic from University of Sherbrooke. His skill in mathematic give him a powerfull interest for the understanding of digital sound design.
