The meat at the end is meant to be metaphorical for a sausage factory, it's basically saying that too much control of individual expression results in a society that is made of carbon replicas. It's a view of how the system tries to stamp out creativity. Pink Floyd are brilliant.

I am afraid to play this piece, but I really want to learn it at the same time! Horowitz has so much control that it makes the idea of taking on this work incredibly daunting.
