About b470
B470 are a 6-person science team funded by the National Science Foundation, with home institutions of the University of Alaska and Alaska SeaLife Center (Jo-Ann Mellish, Allyson Hindle, Rachel Berngartt, John Skinner) and Oregon State University (Markus Horning, Mee-ya Monnin). We are currently studying thermoregulation in Weddell seals in hopes of better understanding how they may be impacted by changing environments. Henry Kaiser is the videographer/photographer/diver/guitarist for team b470, and he shoots and edits all the videos for this youtube channel.
