MELL TIERRA! His public oriented gigs and sympathetic appearance built up quite some goodwill and a big and faithful fan base during the past decade of Mell's career building.

At the age of 14 Mell Tierra already got his first gigs behind the decks at local events. Only two years later he became a resident DJ for several venues throughout Holland. Since then the only way was up for Mell and while the years passed he could add big venues and events to his DJ schedule like Panama, The Mansion, Westergasfabriek (Amsterdam), Club Rembrandt (Eindhoven), Lexion (Westzaan), Sneakerz Muzik, Amsterdam Dance Event and the infamous FFWD Dance Parade (Rotterdam).

Not only his appealing DJ sets live up to the expectations of the public! Numerous tracks and remixes have left the Mell Tierra Studios successfully. With releases on respected labels such as Big & Dirty Records (Be Yourself Music), Spinnin' Records, Flamingo Recordings, Sneakerz Muzik, Nervous Record, Blackhole Recordings & Samsobeats, Mell shows his technical studio skills time after time. In the meantime, Mell's tracks reached over 30 successful compilations cd's like DJ Jean's Madhouse, Chuckie's Dirty Dutch Aftershock, Sony Houseparty, Slam FM Clubbin, Sneakerz and Nope is Dope.

The list of (international) DJ's that support Mell's tracks keeps on growing, amongst others: Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Axwell, Paul van Dyk, Grant Nelson, Gareth Emery, Erick E, Roog, Marco V, Hardwell, Laidback Luke, Chuckie, Gregor Salto and Sidney Samson. Besides that, none other than Grammy award winning superstar dj Roger Sanchez asked him to deliver a guest mix for his legendary Release Yourself Radioshow. His guest mix appeared on episode 442 in April 2010, that has been broadcasted in 17 countries nationwide.
