Hi, I'm Melisa Act and I'm 13 years old. Welcome to my Youtube Channel, here you can post comments, send me messages, watch my videos and talk about WESTLIFE!!!! I opened up a youtube channel thinking " I can comment on youtube videos" But now I think " Youtube isn't just to comment on videos but to socialize, listen to your favourite songs, movies etc and to share videos on what people love to do. So for the Youtube team "Thank you for making some people's dreams come true and letting them show their interests on videos and channels."
A billion thank you for the people that watch my videos, and letting me share my interests with you all. I haven't currently opened up a twitter or facebook account for people to follow me with because I am busy with other things. I only go on youtube when I have a break on things I do at home. It won't be long til I do open up a facebook and twitter account, please forgive me if you are waiting for any other accounts on the internet for you to follow me with.

I'm a 13 year old that loves singing, acting, dancing and I am a huge fan of the most successful Irish boyband Westlife.

I use to do Calisthenics which is sort of like gymnastics. It involves ballet, gymnastics, singing, acting and dancing. It's been 2 years ever since I stopped, but it was good fun!

I gained the love of music from the Irish boyband Westlife. They inspired me through my music life and leads me where I am today!

I play the Guitar and I play the Recorder. Those 2 instruments has also helped me out with Music, especially the Guitar. I'm also part of a Choir at school. At the end of the year we get to be apart of a Music Festival and sing the songs we have been learning from the start of the year.

My dream ever since I was 3 was: To become a member of a successful Girlband or be a Singer/Songwriter.

Another dream was: Meeting my favourite interest and band of all time, which is Westlife. I have always loved Westlife, I still love them now and I will forever love them. But since Westlife is splitting up one of my dreams won't come true, so let's try to get my other dream to come true....don't you think? Definitely!!!

I do covers and I upload them here onto Youtube. I have written my own songs, but I haven't had time to upload them because I have song requests from other people.....I love requests anyway, so feel free to give me a song request!!

I also love swimming and running. They are both my interests outside the "Music Life". When my school does the relays, I've always been in it. Some people say I am the fastest 13 year old in the school. I finished an 80 meter run at 12.9 seconds....Hurray!!! That was actually one of the fastest times to run that length at my school! The other sport I love is swimming. My mum always said swimming was my favourite sport ever since I was 2!

Let's get back to the Music stuff!

I love singing and Westlife the same. Both interests are part of my life! I would nothing more than too be a successful singer and to meet Westlife.

You can change my life to a reality if you watch my videos. I pray for both my dreams to come true!

There is a few more things I would love to say: People might say achieving goals is really hard but believe me, if you believe in yourself your goals will be achieved. These words are from the Westlife song "No Place That Far"

If I had to run
If I had to crawl
If I had to swim a hundred rivers
Just to climb a thousand walls
Always know that I would find a way
To get to where you are
There's no place that far

Those words made me believe in myself and have a go. And guess what? Right now I'm having this go on becoming a singer! It boosts my confidence! That's why I'm saying thank you to Westlife. They give me a boost on having a go...from their songs and the things they say.

Mark Feehily from Westlife said: "Be yourself, try the best and have a go!"
Words like that boost me on having a go. If you love doing something, and you know you're not good at it, just have a go...keep trying. For example, you love singing and you would love to upload your Cover on Youtube. You know you don't sing well so you didn't upload it. Just please, upload it! Who cares if someone gives you an awful comment...because the most important thing is that you have a go!

One more thing: Live your dream and you only get one life so make it worth it!
