Wow that very first fight is what I wish Dark Souls pvp was all about. Just remove backstabs completely and have each other damaging and fishing for parries instead. Looks way more intense. When I'm pvping at the kiln it's 95% of fights being backstab wins.

yeah I've started playing again and have only just gotten into the actual pvp scene and it's still pretty fresh for me. finishing the game and killing all the bosses is now an afterthought to what kind of pvp character I wanna make. I suppose that will get old too, but since I've gotten into it...

Freaking BKGA is the second dumbest weapon, followed by 2H Murakumo. At least for me it is. Murakumo goes straight through my shield all the time, annoying as shit. Don't learn anything from those fights cause they're usually over within a few seconds. BKGA isn't so bad cause you can parry it...

Also does anyone know why he's switching to heater shield when he gets backstabbed? Is it for the follow-up parry that he does after standing up or something?
