I agree definitely comparable to Judy Garland's vocals. Should not be forgotten, but sadly is and not known - perhaps its because she and her husband Teddy Johnson had a happy marriage and no scandals to report.

They were both well into their sixties in this performance - and still sound pretty impressive...I imagine the song became quite an irritant after several performances but his voice is up there with the top American stars like Frank Sinatra. Oh and he was a local boy, Surbiton, Surrey!
