7 wks old is too young for a glider to leave its mom, and I bet since they purchased them at 7 wks old they were taken away from their parents at an even younger age. This is why these people probably have a heat rock in their cage becuase the little guys are too young to maintain their body heat...

Do your research before you purchase a sugar glider. There is tons more that goes into them.

I also learned how to train them to be brababies from glidercentral too its a great place to learn as much as possible about sugar gliders. there are soo many great resources listed on it as well as other glide owners!
