MEET THE BLANKS

Follows this young African American couple Billy Blanks Jr. and his wife Sharon Catherine Blanks as they enter into the adoption process for the second time. Watch as they balance marriage, children, family, careers in both entertainment & fitness, and life during/after adoption and as they travel the country to surprise families and schools inspiring them to improve their health and lives. This is a journey filled with music, joy, fashion, challenges, adversity, love, and a tremendous amount of laughter. Together for a decade, Billy and Sharon had to fight their way back from being homeless for a year and a half (even with a famous last name).
Billy is an actor, singer, dancer who has also been dubbed the new Prince of Fitness. He is the creator of Billy Blanks Jrs Cardioke and new workout Billy Blanks Jrs Dance With Me. Billy is on a mission to make fitness fun with his high energy dance inspired workouts. He is the son of the famed Tae Bo fitness guru Billy Blanks.

Sharon is an actress, singer, dancer who was featured in the HBO movie Introducing Dorothy Dandrige with Halle Berry, and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with Will Smith. She has had starring roles in RENT, Jekyll & Hyde, Dreamgirls, Smoke Joe's Café, and is currently appearing in the Los Angeles premiere of Crowns. Sharon teaches along side Billy in their fitness classes. The native New Yorker is the daughter of TV star Johnny Brown from Good Times and Laugh In.
Sharon and Billy's Mexican American son is Elijah who is 5 going on 50! He basically runs it all or at least he thinks he does. Eric is the Blanks cool 19 year old assistant / manny. He is part Mexican, part Japanese and all hysterical cartoon character.
He is Tom trying to keep up with Elijah's Jerry.

This unique marriage of players creates a new spin on the American family dynamic and shows what true love, loyalty, and determination is.
