What ever happened to the good ol'days when rock n' roll and rythym & blues songs meant something and the words were crystal clear ?

That was the kind of music I grew up with in my day as a kid , teenager , and young adult in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Idaho .

You could dance , daydream , listen to it while doing your homework or just hanging out with your friends and music then was more of an artistic expression by the likes of the Motown Philadelphia and Memphis soul groups , the pure rock groups out of San Francisco and artists who broke away from their groups to create a career of their own . Today , music is not the same anymore and the things that were sung about back in the day about peace , love , friendship , have now been replaced by "singing" about sex , violence , and whatever . Nobody has any talent anymore like they did back in the day .

I am a San Francisco Bay Area native , born in San Francisco , California and raised in the suburbs until I was 14 . I then moved to Idaho and graduated from high school with average grades and went on to attend college .
