MEDIC17 - Trisector 'Lifeforms' / 'Trace Of A Smile'
"Lifeforms" effortlessly rolls back the years to the uncompromising dancefloor sounds of the late-90s, think classic Ed Rush + Optical with 2009 sensibilities. http://shop.hospitalrecords.co<wbr>m/product/medic17
MEDIC16 - Randomer 'Scapegoat' / 'Appetite'
After an outing with big sister Hospital on the massive Sick Music project, Synth Geek Randomer returns to Med School with a dirty cross-genre dancefloor workout. UK funky, dubstep and drum+bass are integral parts of a Randomer DJ set, so its no surprise that this latest 12 reflects all these influences and more.
Scapegoat is a slamming party anthem taking Med School in a new direction as we hit 140bpm for the first time. Whether you call this bashment, house, dancehall, dubstep, soca, grime or UK funky, the underlying twisted sounds of Randomer are unmistakable - including a pitched vocal harking back to previous release Blind.
Keeping you hungry for more, flipside Appetite is a feast of hip-hop infused half-tempo drum+bass hitting hard at 85/170bpm. Theres plenty to digest in this moody cinematic number; trademark throbbing bass, suspense-fuelled keys and warped spoken word vocal, all dissected with an oversized kick and metallic snare.
Since his last Med School release Randomers profile has sky-rocketed, culminating in massive across-the-board club and radio support from Toddla T, Danny Byrd, Pete Tong, Fabio, Zane Lowe, High Contrast and more!
MEDIC15CD - Bop 'Clear Your Mind'
Bop and his dog Booyaka have returned from intergalactic space travel to cool you down this summer with more ice-cold subtleties and Med School is proud to present his debut album Clear Your Mind. Like a Russian cosmonaut ascending through the stratosphere, you will capture a unique vantage point as you look down on planet d&b space suits at the ready, the effects of weightlessness may be experienced!
