Contrary to popular belief, McEagle is not a home builder. We develop infrastructure and commercial properties. If you wish to share you comments or suggestions with us, please visit the NorthSide website or call our office. Thanks!

Stay in the 'burbs, building your crappy McMansions. You just got a sweet stadium deal in O'Fallon. How about you satisfy yourself with that and leave our neighborhood alone?

Hi folks, we would like to hear everyone's comments. If wish to have a discussion regarding the project, please contact the NorthSide project desk at (636) 561-9378, visit our website www.northsideregeneration.com or send an email to me at Julie@northsideregeneration.com. We're looking to engage everyone's concerns, but we weren't intending on using the YouTube comment section as a discussion board.

I.E. Millstone, the legendary St. Louis builder and philanthropist, never sought publicity, but he wasnt shy about expressing his opinion when asked. For instance, he took a dim view of developers who seek government handouts before proceeding with a development project.
In an interview with the Post-Dispatch in 2005, Millstone said: "Today, unless you can get a government agency or somebody to pay for a new stadium or to pay even to get an old school and make it into condominiums, or get up to 60 to 70 percent of it paid by the taxpayers, it doesn't even get done. They're robbing the community. If one gets it, the next one gets it. They could very well use their own money, or borrow it like we did.

do what you want and take risks with your OWN money. NO tax money for private developers.

I support efforts to redevelop this community, but I object to any use of eminent domain. If owners don't want to sell to your company, you should offer them more money or work with them to figure out a way they can develop their holdings in harmony with your vision - but don't use the power of the government to strip owners of what belongs to them!

Bravo! Anyone wishing to renovate this part of the city deserves support. I'm skeptical that it can work, but it seems like the McEagle folks are certainly trying.

Thanks for the comment, Brian. We're working hard to try to provide a number of portals for communication. Our website (according to our IT folks) should officially be live tomorrow morning and will provide a large amount of information regarding the project. And as I mentioned earlier, will have a discussion board where users can post their questions and concerns and we will be working very hard to keep up with adressing as many as we can! Keep checking back for continual updates as we are trying to provide new information every few weeks.

I am glad that this is finally up. Communication is key at this stage of the project. Let's hope NorthSide keeps moving forward and the community feels that they can get answers to their questions and concerns.
