Ginger, atheist mother to a 12 year old interested in science, ethics and personal freedom, (comedy and Judge Judy are also top of my list). I love books, chemistry, Radio 4 and people.

I am one of those lefty liberal types who believes in social contracts and equality. Quite gynocratic (although have been known to scream "I am Sparta" when attempting to park). What cheers me up in this mad mad world are the shots of brilliance this species displays (LHC, engineering, architecture, art and of course really sarcastic comedy).
I don't like people who aren't open to learning, debate and changing their minds. If you think you know it all you might as well be dead.

The human mind and its behaviour fascinates me.
