I am an artist, Below I have Included a short Artist Statement and Bio. Thanks for taking the time to read them and check out my art.

Artist's Statement Art is my way to understand the world around me, it is my way to feel, see and shape all the things in my reality. Jesters started it. From the beginning they showed me the way to feel and understand certain things I could not. They were my subconscious attempt to deal with both the hard and easy things in life from which I had no other outlet. From my early abstract drawings of them to the complex drawings and paintings I do now. My jesters transformed into chacters that showcased every emotion felt and through my art became my Jack of all trades. And, over the years, that magical process has stayed way with me, turning hobby to art. and clearly now an obsession with art itself. As I constantly try to learn and try new things to evolve not just with my jesters but out of the abstract world as well. Art in all of it's forms fills me with a sense of accomplishment and integrity, and has proven a most amenable vehicle for translating inner vision to outer reality. I create from the inside out. Trying with every stroke of a brush or other materials to show the world who I am and let them with every glance get a small view of my soul. My art frees my imagination and provides many opportunities for happy accident and grace to influence the finished product. Recently I finished a huge collection of my Abstract Jester series and although I will continue to draw and paint my jesters I am now growing more in the styles of surrealism, Impressionism and expression. Studying the masters of old to see not only how I can grow as an artist, but also where I can hopefully cast new light on the style itself. To continue to show the world something new. Born in Chicago Ill, on November 10, 1981. Mostly known for his Abstract Jesters that made him have a passion for drawing. Christopher J. Mayhone has really blossomed into an artist that both collectors and art fans alike should be on the look out for. With well over 1000 pieces to his name Christopher has broken out of just the abstract world to produce wonderfully beautiful pieces in all styles. Including the Impressionism, Surrealist and Modern art styles. Just to name a few. With a Few one-man exhibits under his belt, as well as appearances on T.V and newspapers, talking about his art. Christopher J. Mayhone is a real artist who's pieces like "Nightime Sky", "Lost Couple" and even his take on two well known pieces, "Hand Touching Creater" and "The Last Supper", Better know as his "A Jester's Last Supper", stand alone as works of art. Truly a creative person who's work speaks for itself. And a person who artistic talent enriches the world. Including every person that sees his art.
