Just saying last night Rome sounds, in places, a bit like a cross between Sisters of Mercy and the Bad Seeds. Anyway thanks for the introduction.

Hey yeah ... nice to see the ROME up there on your faves my friend. You like, eh? Vocalist has an awesome voice ala Cohen, Waits, Cave. ;-)

Hi trollcrusher242, I will be listing all the tracks on Metropolis when I get round to it. Silly me, I had a list when I was editing the soundtrack but deleted it when finishing my DVD copy thinking I'd need it anymore.

I suggest the audio track titles because I think that you are going to get feedback from others who view this (and all of its subsequent parts), as to just WHO the artists are -and- the name of the track. Possibly post timestamp references:

00:00 to xx:xx is Desiderii Marginis ("track title here").

Hey there Maverick ... yeah, I managed to find a blogspot that had a bunch of Desiderii Marginis downloads on it (of which I managed to download en masse). I've been on a bit of a "Martial Industrial" kick as of late and have been downloading the likes of "Triarii" and "Toroidh".

Also, I managed to find a project that you might be interested in downloading. It by a group / solo performer called Collapsar and the album is entitled "Beyond The Event Horizon" (2009 release).

Hi trollcrusher. I had a bunch of old nuclear test, public domain video and thought the track would fit well. There are very few bands that I can say Ive enjoyed most if not all of their work and Desiderii Marginis is one of the very few. I hope you enjoy Desiderii Marginis as much as I do .

Ill check out PGR as Ive never heard of them before. Cheers.

Dude ... I am gonna have to look into Desiderii Marginis / Johan Levin's projects after viewing the "showcased" video on your page. Very cool. Kind of reminds me of PGR (on the Silent Label / Kim Cascone).

Also, gotta love that Kiwi who learned how to fly (albeit for a very brief time).

Take care,

Heh heh heh ... "Jah Jah Binks of the underground world". CLASSIC. ;-P

Pretty well like all electronic music from melodic to noise, since the day I heard 'being boiled' on John Peel's radio show. Now that's what I call music I said to myself way back then. Currently I'm cleaning up the laserdisc version George Lucas does not want us to know about... Yeah the one without the Jah Jah Binks of the underground world. Why ever in the world did I think frame by frame editing would be a good idea! it keeps me from sitting on park benches tossing crumbs to pigeons and mumbling to myself though. ;)

Yup ... I now remember these guys (Clock DVA). Where is my fookin' head at? Fook yeah, they played this quite a bit in the store. Duh ... they had a release or two on Wax Trax!

I'm getting too old my friend. Memory is going. Next up I'll be a drooling vegetable sitting on a park bench tossing crumbs to pigeons and mumbling to myself. ;-)

Reminds me of some early stuff by Front Line Assembly and Greater Than One.

Good deal.
