About Me:
I am a 16 year old singer, musician, dancer and guitarist. I am also a Justin Bieber Tribute Artist with a focus on performing for children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
As my sister is a childhood cancer survivor and fought leukemia for many years (she is in remission now) I have known many children over the years fighting this terrible disease and as a result, I have worked to raise awareness for childhood cancer. With experience as a guitarist, dancer and vocalist, I was first asked in 2010 to perform Justin Bieber's songs for these very brave and special children and I have done so since.
The word "impersonator" has always been a little weird to me. It doesn't really describe what I do. I am never trying to "be" Justin Bieber as a person. Sure, when I sing his songs, use some of his choreography and wear clothes that audiences know, it is to remind them of his music and how amazing it is. I am not trying to find my identity in Justin Bieber.
I have my own identity.
When I am performing Justin Bieber's songs, I strongly prefer to be referred to as, "Justin Bieber Tribute Artist- Matt Taylor." rather than "Justin Bieber Impersonator." That is how I ask to be introduced at shows and I think it is more respectful to Justin Bieber.
My main goal always is to give some happiness to children who, because of illness or circumstance, cannot travel to see the real Justin Bieber. At this time in my career, it's about them first and right now Justin's music is what they want to hear. I try my best to do his music justice and pay him that deserved tribute. In the future, I will be doing other covers and also performing some of my own music.

Heyy, i think what your doing for those kids is amazing and your making a big difference for these children! I think your also being respectful to justin bieber which i also think is amazing! I wish i could be as brave and good hearted as you. You made my day when i read what your all about. I also wish more people were like you. I think your on your way to a happy life!
