@franknbeans4761 also keeping with the experience from the Yugoslav wars, the JNA airforce did not use their aircraft sparingly in the first 2 years of the conflict for ground attacks. (my father was injured in a rocket attack, not sure which year)

my dad said there was an incident where a mortar crew of a 120mm mortar no less had a round misfire so they dropped another one on it and blew up themselves and injured others around them.

@MatoVuc this technically prompted the changes that were implemented on the t-90MS that was demonstrated at Nizhny Tagil, notably the long bustle at the back of the turret, that is in fact 3 boxes, one for the charges and the other two for the various munitions.
