Matt has been a professional, performing musician on both drums and guitar for over 20 years, and has played across Canada and the U.S. in some of Canada's most top-notch bands, and with some of Canada's best musicians. In a world where real musicians are being pushed aside in favour of more mediocre performers, Matt keeps it real and shows his talent through his songwriting, and especially in his live performances where he consistently impresses audiences with his skillful and tasteful guitar playing, and powerful, dynamic vocal performances not seen in many mainstream rock bands in this day and age.
Unlike so many bands today who write more about the depressing and negative things in life, Matt focuses more on writing powerful, positive and uplifting songs, many of which are inspired by personal life experiences, which are aimed at leaving the listener feeling more of a sense of hope and inspiration.
