@ChesterFanningChorno Have you heard Vladimir Ashkenazy play the Scherzo he expresses it a little different then Zimmerman and I don't necessarill prefer one over the other however, yes Zimmerman seems to take the right amount of time at the right time to let the emotion of the piece come out

I have listened to Abey Simon and Evgeny Kissin play this piece. Although, I appreciate Simon's speed and dexterity he lacks the romance in expressing the piece. Kissin is to caught up in the expression and in my opinion lacks some of the masculine strength in the piece, which brings me back to Z...
