Airwaves is an invitational competition: the best
riders in the world in each discipline are invited
to take part.
The winners in each discipline get the prize
money.
Setting the standard
Tignes Airwaves is the opportunity for the 150
riders who take part to size each other up just
before the X Games and the US Open, North
America's biggest freestyle and extreme sports
competitions.
