In response to my fellow right wing Christian zombie friend tadeh3, I have edited his misguided "ideology" and inserted all of my political views where needed:

+Steady and reasonable taxes (progressive taxation) and strengthen our economy to reduce our staggering (if not embarrassing) national deficit.

+Reform the War on Terror and create a police force based upon global intelligence.

+Maintain our military, but cut back the bloated defense budget.

+Defeat racism, homophobia, prejudice and barbarianism.

+Protect our country with limited lethal force.

+Support national security, but repeal the destructive PATRIOT Act.

+Drastically reduce the use of capital punishment (the death penalty) and then pass a constitutional amendment to abolish it altogether.

+Keep the checks and balances in sight.

+Repeal or drastically reform the No Child Left Behind program; it has failed.

+Universal health care for all.

+Marriage is a commitment between two PEOPLE, not just a man and a woman.

+Conserve our natural resources and lands.

+Support the woman's right to choose (pro-choice).

+Protect our wildlife.

+Support and expand fair trade.

+Out of NAFTA, the WTO, etc.

+Support the Second Amendment, but keep firearms out of the hands of criminals and children. Furthermore, people wishing to purchase a firearm must undergo a background check and pass a quick gun safety class. Owning a weapon is a privilege since there are many people out there who would do more harm than good when it comes to firearm possession.

+Become a stronger voice in the United Nations and strive for peace.

+End George W. Bush's oil war in Iraq and bring our troops home.

+The War on Drugs has been a complete failure. The decriminalization and eventual legalization (and government regulation with taxation) of all drugs would eliminate the illegal drug market and we would save billions of dollars annually. We need to assist drug addiction and treat it as a public health problem.

+Legalize both personal and medicinal use of marijuana.

+Open borders would save millions of dollars (spent on a wall, guards, maintenance, etc.) bring economic relief, create new jobs and form friendly neighbors.
